Resumen : Este documento presenta el resultado de años de aprendizajes adquiridos a través de cada una de las asignaturas de la carrera de Técnico Superior en Grabación y Producción Musical...
Descripción : The present document is the result of years of learning from the various courses subjects in the Senior Technician in Recording and Musical Production career. For the purpose of completing the thesis project, one general as well as three specific objectives were defined. Regarding the general objective, it was proposed to apply the knowledge and techniques learned throughout the career, in order to compose and produce a musical theme based on “reggaeton”. As for specific objectives, it was aimed: I) to combine, by means of a musical production, elements from a diversity of genres; II) to incorporate various musical instruments.; III) and to propose a visual design as an aid in projecting the content of the musical message. Following the objectives, the various phases of a whole process that started with the research on the evolution of the “reggae” genre until giving birth to “reggaeton” are described. Likewise described is the use of conceptual and technical resources applied in every phase of a musical project, namely: pre-production, production and post-production. Pertinent conclusions and recommendations are presented at the end of this work. Highlighted among them is the fact that musical genres are subjected to variations, in time and space, to become an expression of the moments lived in a pre-determined social and cultural setting. Furthermore, at present, technology provides important resources, permitting the instruments and digital programs to enrich the musical production, since, properly selected and used, produce sounds and new styles in any given genre subject to consideration
