Centers of Children of Good Living (CIBV according to its translation in Spanish) are care services directly administered by the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES according to its translation in Spanish) or operating through agreements with other entities. They are responsible for children from 1 to 3 years. These centers include actions for preventive health, healthy eating and education, always with responsibility towards the family, the community and intersectorial coordination; thus strengthening the work in favor of rights, gender, inclusivity and multiculturalism” (Technical Standards of Integrated Child Development, 2014) Although the Centers of Children of Good Living have professionals dedicated 100 percent of the time to the care of children who go to this place; it is evidenced a lack of stations or workspaces that encourage motor development of younger children, neglecting one way or another both physical and psychological development of children at this stage, in which it is essential. To achieve full coverage of these spaces at the CIBV and ensure that these centers not only take care of children, but contribute to the development of the smallest of this place, it is essential to create a workspace that encourages motor development of the children in the classroom; where they can have space to exercise daily, in addition to the rest, food and cleaning area. To materialize the above mentioned, it was decided to make a design proposal based on the Montessori methodology, as it is closely related in terms of children and their development in preschool. This proposal seeks, through various materials and objects, to develop workspaces that help the autonomous growth of the child, doing the school process a pleasure with the main objective to design ergonomic and functional objects within a workspace based on the Montessori method, which favors and contributes the motor development of children from 12 to 18 months in Centers of Children of Good Living – CIBVen
