| Descripción : | The present project documents and explains the procedure and methodology implemented for the production of the musical theme "Atoms" of the group CONVOY, who have been playing the alternative rock genre for about three years in Quito, Ecuador. At the beginning, research was carried out, such as the revision of bibliographic and audiovisual material for the construction of a theoretical framework, with the aim of specifying the concept of the song to be produced. Likewise, a schedule and a budget were established to constitute a framework of work where all the parties can execute their activities properly and opportunely. In the preproduction process, some essays were necessary, where the instrumentation, the sonority and the reference to which the musical theme documented in this project were approached. In the same way, a technical rider of the mandatory teams was defined to be able to execute each one of the activities involved throughout the whole process. During the recording, each instrument was executed and captured independently according to the schedule and equipment previously established; Seeking in this way to obtain the best performance of the musicians, as well as the best development of the producer at the time of recording and selecting the shots obtained throughout this phase. Finally the post-production tasks were executed, such as the mixing and mastering of the musical product; Adjusting it to the initial concept and to the referential theme. In addition, the graphic art that visually represents the above-mentioned concept was realized, with the support of a designer. |
