Descripción : The titling work was carried out in the sector of Guápulo located in the center east of the city of Quito, Ecuador. The sector has three important neighborhoods that bring historical and symbolic qualities: La Floresta, La Tolita and Guadalupe. These neighborhoods have remained over time and have created identity in the inhabitants of the study area. Today, Guápulo is one of the few sectors in the city of Quito that preserves its historical traditions, customs and its relationship with neighbors. This human relationship is the basis of the identity of the sector and allows its sporting, gastronomic and cultural traditions to remain active despite the influential evolution of the city. The human relationship is produced by the development of the three activities mentioned in the public spaces that are located throughout the sector of Guápulo. These meeting points become important due to their identity-generating condition, which leads to the urban proposal to rehabilitate public spaces and articulate the three neighborhoods to enhance the human relationship characteristic of the sector. The architectural proposal contemplates the needs of each space and proposes flexible gastronomic and cultural facilities, as well as a sports complex in the Tolita neighborhood. In this way it is intended to unify the sector of Guápulo through a Network of Public Spaces that articulate the neighborhoods that comprise it and that has the necessary architectural equipment for the development of the activities characteristic of each neighborhood.
