dc.descriptionDuring President Rafael Correa´s long period, his intromission in the three State powers and control institutions has been evident. This has concentrated the absolute power in his hands, getting Ecuador apart from being a democratic State, and aligning it with a totalitarian one. The aim of this research was to analyze how the central government was allowed to interfere in the judicial function as well as in the media and what its consequences have been. To achieve this, a recount of the events from 2007 to the present are shown, which are analyzed through the theory of political realism.en
dc.description.abstractDurante el largo periodo del presidente Rafael Correa, ha sido inminente su intromisión tanto en los tres poderes del Estado, como en instituciones y órganos de control. Concentrando de esta manera el poder absoluto, alejando al Ecuador de ser un Estado democrático y alineándolo a uno totalitario. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar de qué manera se permitió la injerencia del gobierno central en la función judicial así como también en los medios de comunicación y cuáles han sido sus consecuencias. Para llegar a ello, se presentará un recuento de los sucesos desde el 2007 hasta el presente, los mismos que serán analizados a través de la teoría del realismo políticoes_ES
