Descripción : People use cosmetics all around the world, especially conventional cosmetics, which are composed of toxic chemicals to the skin. On the other hand, natural cosmetics have emerged as an alternative to reduce health problems caused by these chemicals (Organic Monitor, 2011). The world trend of the use of natural cosmetics is growing rapidly, with an estimated of approximately 15 % for the next few years (Morris, 2008). In Ecuador, this trend is gradually increasing because of consumer preferences for natural products and government regulations that have allowed this market to develop in the country, consequently, encouraging national companies to compete in this industry. Taking into account this background, NATURELLE CIA. LTDA. Company started as a project of producing and selling hand-made cosmetics. Specifically, the company will produce a natural cocoa cream with three main skin benefits, targeting 18-35 years old women from Quito, Ecuador, who seek to care, heal and hydrate their skin with natural ingredients. Differentiation is the main marketing strategy which makes the product stand out in the market with its skin benefits, from its natural quality, that meet the main needs of the consumers analyzed in the market research. The investment of the project is valued at USD 51.221,49, 65% is funded with own capital, and 35% is financed by credit.
