| Descripción : | The project is focused on the measurement of glucose in two groups of newborn infants; fed with breast milk and fed substitute milk, by tracking to the infants from birth up to 24 hours, where through shots of blood glucose will be an analysis, reporting glucose levels in each case in the Unidad Metropolitana de Salud Sur in the city of Quito, determining that the newborn baby even if you do not have a generous breast milk (colostrum feeding) covers all the needs of glucose; without falling into hypoglycemia and which does not require administration of substitutes. This study is a comparative which intends to demonstrate that results of glucose levels in the newborn infants, are related to the type of milk that they receive in their first hours of infants, breast milk is essential for the development of the newborn and which does not need any administration of another type of milk, proposes a plan on breastfeeding in the health institution. |
