In the last years, the needs and use of electronic equipment in UDLA is farm has raised, leading to an increase in the electric demand, with the microgrid design it searches an alternative that would be capable of generating a local self-supply, in which the use of electric network (conventional energy) together with renewables energies (solar-windy), creating a hybrid system that gives a continuous electric supply for UDLA is farm. The present degree job is based on the design of a microgrid for the UDLA is experimental farm, with it searches an alternative to give a different perspective to the continue energy use, it has proposed integrating two types of renewable energy (solar-windy), the same ones will be connected to the electric network and it is estimated that they will produced an energetic compensation of the use of resources of solar radiation and wind velocity. For making this job, it took place an study of solar and windy conditions that exist in the farm in order to determinate the energy monthly potential for the use of the microgrid, after the determination of meteorological conditions of the zone, equipment sizing is performed and it considered the most critical charge to be covered by the microgrid, after that an analysis is made of all the microgrid is components to evaluate costs and capacity, for making decisions of the equipment; it is used the software Homer Energy where you can simulate the microgrid. In the design is creation it is observed that the conventional cost of proportionated energy by the EEQ, is cheaper compared to the use of renewable energy, however, it is necessary to find an alternative that helps supporting the highly demand of energy and one of them is the microgrid.en
