In this study, the prevalence of Mycoplasmosis in broiler chickens at the time of slaughter was determined using two diagnostic techniques; the identification of respiratory and articular pathological findings corresponding to Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae, respectively, and by the rapid plaque serum hemaglutination test. The study was carried out at the level of the processing plant, which was located in the province of Pichincha, and made slaughtering of chickens from different localities. For the analysis, chickens from four sectors of the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas (Puerto Limón, Alluriquín, Nuevo Israel and Valle Hermoso) were selected. The prevalence of the disease was determined by two diagnostic methods; by the anatomopathological findings and the presence of agglutination in blood serum samples presented to commercially obtained antigen in response to a positive reaction between the antibodies present in the blood of the chickens analyzed and the antigen belonging to the detailed microorganisms. The results obtained for each prevalence were 33.07% in relation to the first method and 33.23% in relation to the second method. The chi square test was used to evaluate the hypotheses and the degree of their correlation. It was concluded that the two diagnostic methods were feasible for the determination of Mycoplasmosis and that they showed a relation in the prevalence values obtained, so that the two variables did affect the study evaluation, thus fulfilling the alternative hypothesis presented, and That the margin of error was less than 5% and a significance value greater than 95% was obtained, which confirmed the similarity in percentage of efficacy of the two methods for the diagnosis of avian Mycoplasmosis.en
