Descripción : Background Given its extensive production of fruits and vegetables, its geographical location, climate and land, Ecuador is considered a mega-diverse country. On the other hand, United States presents economic growth rates and high standards of living; characteristics that generate changes in the eating behavior of their inhabitants. These people are mostly inclined by the consumption of natural food, and seekfor social and environmental justice. The supply of raw materials and the demand for these type of products in America, generates an opportunity for Ecuador. It also approaches the diversification of exports for manufactured products, generating value to compete internationally. Methods this business plan is based on the analysis to determine the feasibility of the project. Analyzing the external environment of both countries; the behavior of industry, mostly in the United States; The determination of preferences and needs of consumers through surveys and interviews, together to establish the business opportunity; Followed by the approach of an appropriate marketing mix that is consistent with the financial evaluation of the project. Results Results When analyzing the external environment and analyzing the client, it is clear that the United States presents an attractive scenario for foreign investment with indices of political, economic and corporate stability, which in turn are complemented by changes towards healthy trends in consumption. Equally, Ecuador is a country where agriculture represents 6.1% of GDP, where small producers apply socially responsible practices. Likewise, it shows high competitiveness in the market and high barriers of entry to the United States industry. Consumers are characterized by purchasing products that are socially responsible with the consumer and the environment. Identifying a business opportunity in the state of California creates Andean Juices, cold pressed juices made from Ecuadorian fruits and vegetables, following strict quality standards to enter this US market. Finally, the financial evaluation shows an initial investment of USD 98,115.00 and confirms the viability of the project with a Net Present Value of USD 118,111.09 and an Internal Rate of Return of 86%
