dc.descriptionDue to globalization, consumers have become more reflexives when they buy a product. Some studies point out that consumers, in the present pay attention to the manufacturing and selling process. In Ecuador, even though this change is not that evident, costumers are creating some preference to those products which were made in a socially responsible way. Nevertheless, Ecuadorian fashion market still has some factors which define the purchase such as: comfort, designs and durability. In addition, having a differentiation factor like the type of materials used to make a garment or clothing accessory can attract the attention of consumers and if the product meets their expectations fidelity can be stablished. After analyzing external factors of Ecuadorian market and suppliers market, studying costumers behavior and preferences throw quantitative and qualitative techniques and verifying the existence of a business opportunity; Serra was born. This enterprise imports raw material (Pineapple leather, bamboo and soy fiber fabric) from United Kingdom and China; and Serra transforms those raw materials in beautiful and innovating blouses, shoes and purses. These products are manufactured by experienced craftsmen from Atuntaqui and Gualaceo city. These products are designed for women that are between 19 to 40 years old, they are at mid and high socioeconomic level, they are college students and they work in some enterprise. Another characteristic of the segment is that they have a strong preference to have a good and fashionable appearance, they look for comfortable items, beautiful designs and they try to help to protect the environment in some way. The marketing strategy to use is differentiation through the comfortable and innovating designs, as well Serra tries to offer several benefits in just one product. The investment for the project is USD 81 992,61, the 85% of it is financed by its 3 shareholders and the other 15% through a loan for a term of five years. To identify the financial profitability of the project, the NPV of USD 54,512.27 was obtained, IRR of 26.46% and recovery period takes place in the fourth year.en
dc.description.abstractDebido a la globalización, los consumidores se han convertido en personas muy reflexivas durante su proceso de compra, estudios realizados señalan que los consumidores ahora prestan especial atención al proceso de elaboración y venta de los productos. En el Ecuador, a pesar de no ser tan notorio este cambio, los consumidores tienden a generar cierta preferencia a aquellos productos de las empresas que son socialmente responsables. No obstante, en el mercado de la moda en el Ecuador, la compra aún se define por ciertos factores, tales como: comodidad, diseño y durabilidad. Adicionalmente, el hecho de tener un factor diferenciador, como el tipo de materiales que se utilizan para confeccionar una prenda o accesorio de vestir puede llamar la atención de las consumidoras y si el producto cumple con sus expectativas se puede establecer fidelidad a los productos. Es por ello que al analizar los factores externos del entorno del Ecuador y de los países proveedores de las materias primas, al estudiar al cliente a través de técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas y verificando que existe una oportunidad de negocio; nace la idea de Serra. Serra es una empresa que importa materias primas innovadoras y ecológicas de Inglaterra y China para producir blusas, carteras y calzado con la ayuda de artesanos experimentados de Atuntaqui y Gualaceo. La principal materia prima es el cuero de piña, tela de bambú y tela de soya. Estos productos han sido pensados para aquellas mujeres de 19 a 40 años de nivel económico medio alto y alto, estudiantes universitarias y mujeres que trabajan y que les guste vestirse de acuerdo a las tendencias de moda. La estrategia de marketing es la diferenciación través de sus diseños, comodidad y se trata de brindar diversos beneficios en un solo producto. La inversión del proyecto es de USD 81 992.61, del cual, el 85 por ciento es financiado por 3 accionistas y el 15 por ciento a través de un crédito por un plazo de cinco años. Para identificar la rentabilidad financiera del proyecto se obtuvo el VAN de USD 54,512.27fb, TIR de 26.46 por ciento y en el cuarto año se recupera la inversión.es_ES
