| Descripción : | Objective: To evaluate the validity of the three techniques applied ergonomics in pediatric patients to improve their behavior during care. Materials and Methods: This paper corresponds to a descriptive and analytical study. The study was conducted at the “Hospital Baca Ortiz” of the city of Quito. The data collection was obtained by “Face Image scale” to observe the child's behavior against the technical and dental treatment. The sample group contained 60 pediatric patients, 20 children for technique 1, 20 children for technical 2 and 20 children for technical 3. The collected data were analyzed by statistical tables. Results: can be determined that there is a discrepancy between the three techniques ergonomics to improve the Childs behavior, introducing that technique 1 is more effective in improving behavior with (65 percent) of happiness by the child at the end of treatment technique 2 proved otherwise with a (45 percent) of sadness at the end of treatment and technique in March as the two helped not improve the child's behavior with (70 percent) of sadness by the child end of treatment. Conclusions: Technique 1 was more effective in improving the behavior of the collaborating children, or with children who had previous experience in dental consultations, technique 2 and 3 are very effective for dental treatment, but not to improve the Childs behavior, since the “Baca Ortiz Hospital” is attended by uncooperative children with negative antecedents in the consultation. |
