dc.descriptionThe present study values the art of the pre-Columbian culture Manteño-Huancavilca, through the development of patterns and their application in textiles using the sublimation technique. For the implementation of this project was used as a main base the worldview and of this ancient culture. The theoretical framework: was carried out an investigation about the situation of national identity and a historical approach of culture of Manteño-Huancavilca and their symbolism. In addition, there is an approach of the development of patterns and the sublimation technique. Proposal: Was developed a selection of symbols belonging to this culture, categorized then and proceeded to do a morphological and semiotic analysis of each one. Later, the patterns were developed with composition methods. Finally, they were painted by hand and scanned to print them on fabrics. The final product was a small collection of skirts. With the developed product, was made a presentation in the Mindalae Museum, where everything was exposed, including the experience of working with these symbols. In this space, surveys were carried out and the project was verified with positive acceptance. Finally, we can sa that the current situation of our national identity is still a controversial topic, which depends on many factors like social, cultural, political and economic development. However, with this projects the identity is being strengthen, with the mix of manual and digital techniques, and finally this fabrics were transformed into female clothing.en
