Descripción : Centro de la Piel (CEPI) is a dermatological institute with academic and social character that arises with the purpose of providing health care quality making a space for patients to become major players in the recovery and maintenance of their skin health. Making a general overview within CEPI, was detected that it is not a quality control of attention processes, which leads to a waste of resources, where used more effort in solving problems than in planning. Models of management and continuous improvement have not been taught within the training plan, making impossible the application of these tools. Processes of care in the institution have not been standardized; there are currently no uprisings of procedures and activities. Communication channels have been a limiting factor for the correct development of daily activities in the Organization, this coupled with the absence of an organization chart where clearly identified and displayed line managers. In an effort to determine a new vision within the company the subject of this thesis is to implement a quality control circles pilot which helps to improve health care and competitiveness of “Centro de la Piel” (CEPI), where collective and multidisciplinary participation of employees is emphasizes, providing opportunities for research, training and education for a healthy exchange of ideas and experiences; by applying a pilot, which began with presentation of the project proposal to the General Manager and ended with the implementation of a working group that will have a direct experience with the use of quality circles system. The purpose of this work was to verify that the application of a system of Quality Circles raises awareness of quality, productivity, promotes participation, development of human capital and creativity.
