Currently, in Ecuador there is no comprehensive treatment center to provide assistance to people with Autistic Spectrum Syndrome. These syndromes generate a set of difficulties that affect the social skills and communication of infants and adults; however, the child or infant who suffers from this syndrome could reverse their status up to 90 percent, if the same is subjected to a suitable treatment for that in a future can be reintegrated in society. The present project manifests an interior architecture proposal for the creation of the Municipal Center for Psychological Rehabilitation and therapies with rescued animals for children with Autism and Asperger Syndrome. The same will be located in the building of the former Air terminal Mariscal Sucre in the city of Quito, which is mostly in disuse. The proposal of interior redesign will be developed with the objective of creating interior spaces that are responsive to the needs of the administrative professionals, health, children and family that they will participate in comprehensive therapies and medical care within the Center. Allowing to patients with these syndromes receive an assessment, adequate diagnostics and treatment. In addition, planning the use of ecological and recycled materials that do not affect the environment or human health. Also, proposes water recycling systems, photovoltaic and green walls, which will enhance the existing space. The new spaces propose areas of maximum comfort and tranquility using the stimulation of the senses, children can receive treatment with their parents. In addition, the center will provide a space to offer information to the community about these syndromes. The approach of this integral center plans generated by the Interior architecture a model of treatment centers for children with Autism and Asperger Syndrome, and at the same time be a sustainable development model for the medical establishments.en
