dc.descriptionThe Interior proposal of a Residence Hall for the UDLA students UDLA is located on Colimes Street, and Los Granados Avenue, at residential Santa Barbara. The goal of this thesis is to develop a functional, aesthetic space, in order to provide facilities and comfort to students. Additionally, another purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the development of the University, which has not have students residence. Currently, there are not residence hall, where students can live, while they attend to school. For this reason, it is necessary to develop this project, because it will definitely improve the universities services, such as; lodging, food, security. Also, a students residence development will help people who have to leave their homes, looking for better opportunities, to feel more comfortable in a city where they have never lived before. The idea is to adapt one of the towers of the Santa Barbara Housing complex to the different spaces that a residence requires. Students rooms and common areas, where people can relax and spend their free time are specially taken care in the project. The purpose of this project is to provide students a new housing alternative in which they feel identified with every object and space of the residence. The designs concept is based on a social network. The idea is to make users feel party of every area of the residence. The areas designs are structured with organic forms, and each part of the residence takes students to a central point. The interior areas are design with bright colors, modern and organic furnishing, graphics and networks shape, making students feel as if the were living in a social network; a totally new concept, which takes part of every students life. The concept for the design of the place, partly though a social network, and the idea is that users feel part of it, starting with its design plan, this is structured by organic forms, and lead all areas a central point, the interior spaces are designed with bright colors, modern furnishing and organic shapes have graphics and networks that can transmit to each user that are living within a social network.en
dc.description.abstractLa propuesta interiorista de la Residencia Universitaria para los estudiantes de la Udla que no viven en la ciudad de Quito, se encuentra ubicada en la calle Colimes y Av. de Los Granados; en el Conjunto Residencial Santa Bárbara el cual está compuesto por dos torres para la residencia se tomará solamente la torre A. El proyecto tiene como finalidad plantear espacios funcionales y estéticos que brinden facilidades y comodidades a los usuarios, y además que sirva como un aporte para la Universidad. Después de varios estudios se determinó que en la actualidad no existe ningún tipo de residencia universitaria con la que puedan contar los estudiantes de la Udla. Por esta razón es oportuno plantear este tipo solución, la cual brinde a los estudiantes hospedaje, alimentación, seguridad, entre otras. A medida que se desarrolló el proyecto sé la necesidad de adaptar una de las torres del Conjunto Habitacional Santa Bárbara para los diferentes espacios que requiere una residencia, entre los cuales tenemos; habitaciones, baños, restaurante, cocina, áreas administrativas, salas de estudio, áreas de limpieza, gimnasio, áreas de distracción, circulaciones, salas de cómputo. Los espacios mencionados anteriormente estarán diseñados bajo el concepto de una red social. La idea es que los estudiantes se sientan parte de la residencia, partiendo de su diseño en planta, estructurada con formas orgánicas que siempre llevan a un punto central. Los espacios interiores se encuentran diseñados con colores alegres, mobiliario moderno y orgánico, grafismos y formas de redes en sus paredes y fachadas. Adicionalmente se ha diseñado áreas comerciales tales como; papelería, un micro mercado y una peluquería, las cuales además de ser para uso de los estudiantes, generarán ingresos mensuales para el mantenimiento de la residencia.es_ES
