dc.description | E and C is an Ecuadorian project to found a clothing and footwear company in Quito. It is a new alternative of Ecuadorian manufactured clothing and footwear, merchandising by a new brand 100 % Ecuadorian. The target will be people between 19-30 years. The research consisted of two interviews to experts on clothes, a focus group of people in this age range, and surveys to 383 people. Once the responses were analyzed and tabulated, the researched results were: It is a viable idea, where few companies have put their focus, most Ecuadorian producers have no skills and knowledge to market their products in Quito, as the proposed E and C project, the most important issues found were the quality, design and price. Potential consumers are open to new trends of clothes and designs, also showed that people are predisposed to spend similar prices as they spend today on international brands, meanwhile this clothes present design and style. | en |
