| Resumen : | La presente investigación se realizó con el fin de conocer el grado de afectación psicológica de los pacientes posterior a la pérdida total o parcial de sus piezas dentales empleando el cuestionario de Salud General de Goldberg en un grupo de 100 individuos; conformados por desdentados totales y parciales; conjuntamente a este estudio se aplicó la encuesta GOHAI “General Oral Health Assessment Index” para saber si existe o no insatisfacción protésica en su actual uso; ambos análisis se llevaron a cabo en pacientes tratados en la Universidad de las Américas de la ciudad de Quito en el año 2016... |
| Descripción : | The current investigation was performed with the purpose of getting know the psychological affectation grade of the patients after the total or partial lost of them dental pieces applying the general healthy questionary of Goldberg with a group of a hundred individuals which are conformed by partial and complete toothless persons, combined with this research was applied the inquest GOHAI (General Oral Health Assessment Index) for getting know if there is prosthetic satisfaction on its actual use, both analysis were performed with treated patients at Universidad de las Americas in Quito on 2016. The gathered results of the first questionary where related with gender and age showing that the feminine gender and the age range from 55 to 64 years had showed psychological disorders, the second questionary was related with age, gender, kind of prosthesis and kind of patient showing that the feminine gender, the age range from 45 to 54, the carriers of total bimaxillary prosthesis, removal superior and inferior, the skeptical and historical throw lower levels of satisfaction with their prosthesis mainly on the masticatory function. |
