| Resumen : | La sociedad civil del Ecuador ha estado sujeta a cambios legales en la transición constitucional de 1998 al 2008, por consecuencia su participación también ha evolucionado. Bajo tipologías participativas y mecanismos legales, este proyecto busca analizar de qué forma dicho proceso ha modificado su participación. En una primera instancia se revisará la articulación de la sociedad civil, en segundo lugar la apertura estatal hacia las demandas sociales y luego la convergencia entre ambos elementos. Finalmente, se analizarán las leyes nacionales a internacionales para determinar su participación y organización durante estos periodos. Se afirma que a más procesos institucionales que cumplir, menor será la incidencia de la sociedad civil, por lo tanto menor serán las oportunidades de participación. |
| Descripción : | Civil society in Ecuador has been subject to legal transformations during the constitutional change from 1998 to 2008, and as a consequence their role has evolved too. Thanks to the use of participation typologies and legal mechanisms, this project aims to investigate how this process has modified its participation. First of all, it will study civil societys articulation, and secondly how the state enroll social demands to end up with a comparison of the two. International and national law will be analyzed in order to determine its participation and organization. It is concluded that if civil society has more institutional processes to follow, therefore the opportunities of participation impact will be less |
