Descripción : This document develops a business plan for the establishment of a family restaurant for diabetics, using healthy food. The reason for this restaurant to establish is that there are 84.000 people in Quito who suffer of diabetes, those are in the need of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through a healthy and balanced diet that will allow them to control glucose levels but here is a limited market regarding healthy eating. To achieve a proper design of this business plan some factors were considered. First of all, the situation of the food sector in the country is analyzed; then the client is studied to learn how the healthy food market in particular for those with diabetes seeking for a healthy balance is structured. Later on, after having the results of these studies a strategical plan is designed to introduce and establish this business that has a fresh and fun concept that intends to share with people that healthy food can be delicious and that people deserve to feed themselves normally and caring for their health. That is why the name delicious and healthy was chosen with the slogan eat healthy; eat delicious which show that the essence of the company is to provide delicious food that adjusts to nutritional and medical requirements. Furthermore, the technical model is designed, legal and operational parameters are established for the venture, always focusing on quality and constant upgrade. Finally, financial feasibility of the business plan is determined, evaluating the flow of the project and of the investor through financial feasibility indicators. It is expected for this idea to be performed so that the investigation will go beyond theory to actual practice, contributing to improve the lives of people with diabetes and to general job opportunities
