dc.descriptionConflict and tension that has lived in the South China Sea because of maritime rights and sovereignty have been grown considerably over the past five years. China has taken an increasingly tough stance with respect to their own territorial claims, raising an essential interest, besides the construction of civil and military base in the islands has generated anxiety and concern among some of its neighbors and the United States. In particular, the aggressive attitude of China in terms of sovereignty and maritime rights in the South China Sea is seen as a major challenge to the status quo in the region. Breaches by China in the agreements and code of conduct have made that there is a high level of distrust and tension between neighbors, causing a rapid escalation in the conflict. This article is responsible for reviewing the strategic interests of each country involved in the conflict in the South China Sea to help understand the changing strategic realities that lived in East Asia and the nature and causes of conflicts in the area. In addition, possible solutions that could make the actors of this problem and demonstrate that war is the worst resource that can go be shownen
dc.description.abstractEl conflicto y la tensión que se ha vivido en el Mar de China Meridional por cuestiones de derechos marítimos y soberanía, han ido creciendo considerablemente durante los últimos cinco años. China ha acogido una postura cada vez más firme con respecto a sus propias peticiones territoriales, elevándolo a un interés esencial, además la construcción de bases civiles y militares en las islas ha generado angustia y preocupación entre algunos de sus vecinos y en Estados Unidos. En particular, su actitud agresiva, cada vez mayor, en cuanto a la soberanía y los derechos marítimos en el Mar de China Meridional es vista como un gran desafío al status que en la región. Los incumplimientos por parte de China en los acuerdos y código de conducta han hecho que exista un alto nivel de desconfianza y tensión entre sus vecinos, causando una rápida escalada en el conflicto. Este artículo se encargara de examinar los intereses estratégicos de cada país involucrado en el conflicto del Mar de China Meridional para ayudar a comprender mejor las cambiantes realidades estratégicas en Asia Oriental y la naturaleza de los conflictos en la zona. Además, se mostrarán las posibles soluciones que podrían tomar los actores de este problema y se demostrara que la guerra es el peor recurso al que puede acudires_ES
