| dc.description | The present investigation is of significant importance for the personnel of cargo stowage of the company Pertraly S.A., being the subject: Identification of the danger and estimation of the ergonomic biomechanical risk in dockers of the cargo area of the Mariscal Sucre International Airport of Quito. Data that may be useful for the stowage personnel of the airport area of Ecuador. Materials and methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out, 66 participants were evaluated, the objectives set were applied throughout the population and between work shifts (morning, afternoon and night) using the different parameters used in the ISO Standard TR 12295: 2014. Results: 100 percent of the stowage workers are exposed to danger and biomechanical ergonomic risk. Ergonomic danger in cargo stowage personnel was identified in the following percentages: 25 percent repetitive movements, 24 percent manual load lifting, 24 percent postures and forced movements, 20 percent cargo transport and 7 percent in thrust and traction of load. Regarding the estimation of ergonomic risk, the percentages were similar to those described in the identification of ergonomic hazard. Conclusion: It was evidenced that 100 percent of the participants are exposed to biomechanical ergonomic danger and risk during cargo stowage activities and regarding the night shift there is a risk factor in terms of thrust and load traction being with a 13 , 64 percent. | en |
