dc.descriptionXerox Ecuador is an organization which is part of the American multinational Xerox Corporation, which is the world is largest supplier of toner photocopiers and its accessories. Its headquarters are in Stanford, Connecticut. And their markets include office environments, large and small, commercial printing clients and production companies, graphic arts and creative services, public sector operations, and industries such as health, education and financial services. Xerox Ecuador is a company with 45 years of experience in the country, over the years as gained acceptance in the market and is recognized as the affiliate in Latin America with the highest recognition sales. In 2008, Xerox made a total makeover with the launch of new services and products, this change had an impact as the lack of recognition by the public as their previous logo was very popular and their most famous products were photocopiers. For the design of the communication plan, related investigation was performed in which data was obtained prove that the public of the city of Quito, ignores important aspects of the company as its new logo, new products, services and benefits. Moreover Xerox Ecuador does not have a communications department or a corporate communicator, so the purpose of the communication plan is to improve these aspects using corporate communication and corporate image strategies in order to achieve the company is desired image. To carry out the communication plan is needed the collection of the information theory, which will be covered in later chapters, to help the understanding of the image and how corporate communication strategies trough corporate image can change negatives into positives and thereby solve the problems found in research. With this background a communication plan was developed, that meets the needs of the company, with this plan Xerox Ecuador will enhance its image, and meet other objectives.en
