Descripción : The situation that the population in the Gaza Strip lives is the result of decades of conflict and repression by Israel. Nowadays, due to political and ideological factors, the reality that they face has become unsustainable. As a consequence of the Hamas group over the Strip and the establishment of the territory as a “hostile entity”, the humanitarian emergency has aggravated and the violation of the fundamental human rights against civilian has increased through constant military interventions in this territory; this thesis will study two of them: operation Summer Rain that took place between June and November 2006 and the operation Protective Edge occurred from July and August 2014, considered one of the most deadly and destructive Israeli‟s operation since 1967 occupation. The objective of this work is to analyze and describe the main characteristics of the Gaza Strip conflict and to determinate how these have led to the deterioration of the humanitarian crisis and the quality of life of their citizens during the period of 2006-2014 as a consequence of the blockade imposed by Israel as a result of the Hamas victory in the national elections in 2006, also due to the constant violations of Human Rights and Humanitarian Rights during the military incursions. The methodology used is the Study Case from a descriptive perspective. The first chapter summarized the history events that have set the course of the Palestinian- Israeli conflict and how they have affected the wellbeing of the Gazans causing a humanitarian crisis. The second chapter is focus on political aspects, especially the emerge of Hamas as a destabilization force in Palestine and the consequences their victory meant in the national and international scenery: the third chapter details the international human right violation during the Summer Rain operation (2016) and Protective Edge (2014); finally the fourth chapter will analyze the violation of Human Right in the context of the permanent blockade.
