dc.descriptionThis research is aimed at the export of wool sweaters to New York, United States, which required a field study specifically of the city of Otavalo, Knowing of the labor and economic situation of the textile producers from Otavalo, their cultural heritage is passed on through the unique clothing that makes it desired by foreigners; unfolding a market for export; with the demand for hand crafted products by utilizing proper guidance to the process of international economic bargaining to improve the economic condition for the producer. The production of textiles using 100% natural wool, adds value that the American market appreciates. With the added value of the material, the customer responds favorably in consumption. There is cooperation from the government for the development and export of handicrafts through incentives that are listed in the Organic Code of Production, support by funding banks and facilitation of customs; assisting the insertion of this product in the local and international markets. The export of merchandise to the United States is focused on several grounds among which is the antecedent to be the biggest importer of Ecuador as corroborated by statistics found at specialized sites (Central Bank of Ecuador, PRO ECUADOR, Trade map, etc.). The survey of the target population in terms of their tastes and preferences for clothing of this type (made by hand) for the Ecuadorian winter. The statistical information referred to in Chapter III, demonstrates the tendencies, trends and evolution of the product according to this tariff heading. This provides a clearer view of the accessibility of the product and the potential to provide the persistent demand. The requirements and processes of the foreign trade are also made convenient by using the FOB incoterm and export logistics for the proper handling of the product. This knowledge helps minimize the costs and risks resulting in the efficiency of international negotiation between the parties.en
dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de investigación está dirigido a la exportación de sacos con lana de oveja a Estados Unidos /New York, para lo cual se requirió hacer un estudio de campo dirigido específicamente a la ciudad de Otavalo, conociendo la situación laboral y económica de los productores textiles otavaleños; sus confecciones transmiten la herencia cultural mediante una prenda única que la hace anhelada por los extranjeros abriendo así un mercado para la exportación; con la demanda de este producto artesanal y la debida guía de procesos para la negociación internacional se mejorarían las condiciones económicas de dichos productores...es_ES
