Descripción : The current global trend is to offer different products and services that are not overcrowded, allowing consumers to differentiate themselves. This is a trend that has also been applied to the tourism industry, that's why this business idea seeks to provide an attractive, different and with a great cost alternative for tourists, so they can experience by themselves the culture and traditions, as well as ecotourism attractions diversity of Ecuador. Tourism industry environment, potential customers profile of consumption habits and a financial projection had been studied and analyzed, to determine the feasibility, viability and profitability of this business idea (main objective of this research); which proposes a new concept of tourism, focused on the combination of community based tourism and ecotourism. Concluded the analysis of the industry environment and the market research, we determined that there are attractive features for a new venture, due to government incentives and the preferences of tourists. On the other hand, a marketing strategy, a business plan, management team plan, general schedule of activities and potential risks was designed for the service development. Obtained the above data, the next step was to make a financial evaluation to determine the appropriate capital structure required for the implementation of this business idea. With 30% of capital provided by the partners and 70% financed through a 5 years loan of CFN, the initial investment is USD $ 81,848.90. This investment in an expected scenario presents positive results for investors, with an NPV of USD $ 51,638.89 and an IRR of 47.33%.
