Descripción : This study main objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Biotuning technique in male and female patients to be performed in endodontic treatment at the Center for Dental Care of the University of the Americas. Within the methodology 40 patients were divided into 2 groups, 20 male patients and 20 female patients, where we took ages between 18 and 70 years old. Within the methodology three measures of blood pressure, pulse and blood oxygenation divided into three stages were performed. The first record was made in the anamnesis, the second registration was performed 10 minutes after anesthetic infiltration without vasoconstrictor and the last registration was in the root canal. Where it was assess whether men or women had higher anxiety endodontic treatment. The findings in this study are of great importance as described, in the population was observed that male patients presented greater anxiety and fear in the anamnesis while women remained calm. In conclution it was reached that male patients had blood pressure levels of 124.4 out of 80.05 in the first record, 117.75 out of 72.90 in the second register and 119.65 out of 73.90 in third record while female patients had levels of 116.4 out of 74 in the first record, 114.35 out of 72.70 In the second register and 115.8 out of 73.60 in the third record where it was observed that male patients had higher levels of anxiety in the anamnesis while women were more relaxed. And the pulse values in male patients were 66.7 in the first record, the second record in 89.75 and 91.5 in the third record in women while the pulse was 61.95 in the first record, 69,25 in the second register and the third register 65.1 which could be appreciated that in the second and third registration the men pulse showed higher peaks than women. Similarly, analysis of blood oxygenation did not show major differences between men and women. In the detailed results were concluded that the Biotuning technique is effective in both men and women proving to be beneficial for dental treatments.
