dc.descriptionThe business plan consists in the creation of a company dedicated to elaborate and commercialize hand-dipped ice cream in the north of Quito. The product is an ice cream that the client can create at his choice, first the consumer will receive a vanilla flavored ice cream so he can dip it in the chocolate topping of his taste and later add dressings such as chocolate chips, colored draggers or gummy bears. The market at which the company aims is to persons from 10 to 65 years old that live at the north of Quito, that are part of the A, B and C+ socio economic stratum. The competitive advantage of the business is the possibility that the client can create his own ice cream (like dipping it in his favorite topping), therefore the client will be part of each of the steps that takes to create his ice cream making him feel as being part of the brand. Regarding marketing, a massive campaign will be created on Facebook during the first year of implementation where the clients would be able to upload their ice cream pictures and tag them to the Fan Page of the company, a free ice cream will be given to the picture that has more likes during each week. In the other hand, consume orders will be given to El Metro to promote the product. The work team will be formed by the CEO followed by the sales supervisor which is responsible for managing the point of sale, also a production assistant will be needed to produce the ice cream and to deliver it to the point of sale. The business plan will require an initial inversion of $ 36611,67, where its 60% will be funded by a loan from Bank del Pacific and the other 40% from equity. In a no loan scenario, the project will have an IRR of 28,46%, NPV of $ 28837,43, generating income at the third year and 3,6 years to regain its capital.en
