Descripción : The following business plan focuses on the creation of a nautical sports center based on an electrical cable system, located in the province of Guayas, canton of Samborondón, called AquaSki. This business is aimed to people aged from 18 to 45 years with a high purchasing power. The business is located in the industry of Arts, Entertainment and Recreation; which had a 5,5 percent growth in relationship with GDP between 2013 and 2014. (BCE, 2014). Currently, in the country there is no place for professional water sports, so the chance of creating a business that provides these features, is an opportunity in the sports industry. In the country, the Ecuadorian Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation is the entity that regulates the national water sports. By now, the federation doesn’t have its own facilities for the practice of their different sports. The market research, gave an acceptance rate of 88 percent of people who are interested in the idea and that are willing to consume the service, numbers that are positive for the project. AquaSki intends to enter the market using a specialist strategy and also a product development strategy. Providing quality services, along with first-class equipment is fundamental to ensure security. In addition, complementary sports will be offered so they can be practiced in the water and main land too. The creation of the business requires an initial investment of 80.186 USD, of which 70 percent will be through a loan from the National Finance Corporation (CFN), and the remaining 30 percent contribution of the partners. The project is built on an expected funded scenario. With an NPV of 105.523 dollars and an IRR of 49,52 percent, is financially viable for its creation.
