Descripción : This research project seeks to clarify the totalitarian regimen implemented in North Korea. This analysis shall be developed through the application of two different theories that have been divided into two sections. The first theory is Social Engineering, which shall be explained with the idea of a perfect society and the State as a social engineer. The second theory, Chaos and Political Repression, is explained by the chaos theory, as an antecedent for the totalitarian regimen, and the use of violence as a mechanism for social repression. Both theories have been applied to the cases of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and Nazi Germany, in order to stablish a pattern that seeks to explain how a totalitarian regime accomplishes to obtain the power of the State. In this way, we try to compare North Korea and the other two historical examples, in order to demonstrate the way in which the stablished pattern, by these two theories, can be applied in the North Korean totalitarian regime and in this way understand this regime better and define if this pattern is applicable to other totalitarian regimes or even on other government models.
