dc.descriptionThis business plan develops strategies required for the implementation of a theater in the city of Esmeraldas, that tends to position itself as a leader in the provision of cultural entertainment; In this sense market research inclined to determine the business opportunity and the characteristics of the marketing mix which would reduce the risk associated with the investment it was made. The study infers that the target audience was pronounced open to the possibility of attending theater events because the companies presenting entertainment services in the city are not focused on purely cultural programs. In this context, the business plan includes a marketing strategy focused on two areas: the generation of shows throughout the year and familiarizing the public with the offer of the theater, in order to achieve the positioning of the theater in the short and medium term, be artistic groups and seek sponsorship that will diversify cultural artistic offerings. This strategy will ensure that the services of the company Esmeraldas Theatre is differentiated from the competition by providing value proposing contact with cultural organizations and promoters of local, national and international events to ensure participation billboard artists that position the theater as a leader in the cultural field of Esmeraldas. The distribution channel to use for the implementation of this service is straightforward. It is therefore essential investment in media advertising and promotion and advertising strategies that create loyalty and attract new customers turn. With these considerations, an investment plan amounting to USD 233,665.00, distributed among fixed assets, working capital and operating necessary preset spending; under normal optimistic and pessimistic scenarios, with and without leverage. In addition, values of NPV between 40.433,99 USD and USD 210,895.66 (always positive) and IRR of between 18% and 64% (always higher than the benchmark discount rate 14.65% 9.97% leveraged and unleveraged) was generated. Based on data collected in the financial and market analysis, Esmeraldas Theatre is defined as a sustainable company whose objective is to meet the expectations of entertainment and culture of the city of Esmeraldas creating a brand that gives quality services and value the cultural wealth that exists in the province of the same name that is exploited successfully.en
