| Descripción : | The following business plan aims to determine the feasibility of creating a karting track located in Cotopaxi Tennis Club; the company name will be Cotopaxi Racing Karts, and it is focused to people from 5- 49 years old. Cotopaxi Racing Karts it is in the industry of "sports facilities operation" which has 56 partner companies with an annual average growth of 9.01 percent. (Superintendencia de Compañias, 2014, actividad economica). Through market research it was determined that 65 percent of people in the target segment would be willing to come to the karting track; this business aims to reach 6 percent of the potential market, this market survey also determined that competition dedicated to recreational karting offers similar services, but none of them has a track as large and regulated as Cotopaxi Racing Karts has. Cotopaxi Racing Karts will get into the market through a differentiation strategy which consists in providing a unique package of benefits that will attract a substantial group within the segment unlike competitors. This karting track will offer a professional and regulated track (1.8 km), faster and safer technology, Go-Karts, diverse paths, plus a karting school to promote this sport in a more professional way. For the project an initial investment of 133,427.67 dollars is intended; of which 46 percent (107.000, 00 dollars) are covered by a loan and 54 percent (125.965, 99 dollars) in its own capital. By all financial indicies presented below will prove that Cotopaxi Racing Karts is a completely viable project. |
