dc.descriptionAccidents at work are a common phenomenon in todays labor market, there is a progressive social awareness that they should not be accepted as an inevitable consequence of the job, being necessary to research the different variables and interactions that causes it, using approach models of precautionary and intervene, to establish a frame of reference that understands its appearance and improves the current situation. This research work optimal objective is to explain that health and safety at work are something more than just a prevention of accidents; it covers all aspects of the working conditions, in addition is essential to know that the procedures implemented in companies to protect the health and safety of workers are aimed to recognize different occupational hazards and some of the types of jobs that are associated generally to those risks; and analyzing the hazards that workers are prone to and the existences of these on their work places. Health and Safety at work intends to create conditions for the worker to perform its work efficiently and without risks, avoiding events and damage that may affect their health and integrity, the wealth assets of the entity and the environment, and thereby facilitating the quality of life of the worker, his family and social stability.en
dc.description.abstractLos accidentes de trabajo son un fenómeno habitual en el mundo laboral, existiendo una progresiva conciencia social de que éstos no deben aceptarse como una consecuencia inevitable del trabajo, siendo necesario investigar las diferentes variables causales de los mismos y sus interacciones, utilizando modelos de aproximación preventiva e interventiva, para establecer un marco de referencia que permita comprender su aparición y mejorar la situación actual. El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como fin explicar que la salud y la seguridad laboral son algo más que la prevención de accidentes; que abarcan todos los aspectos de las condiciones de trabajo, además es esencial conocer que el empleo de la dirección de las empresas para proteger la salud y la seguridad de los trabajadores está encaminado a reconocer distintos riesgos laborales y algunos de los tipos de trabajos que están asociados generalmente a esos riesgos; analizando así los peligros a los que están propensos los trabajadores y que hay en sus lugares de trabajo. La Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo tiene la intención de crear las condiciones para que el trabajador pueda desarrollar su labor eficientemente y sin riesgos, evitando sucesos y daños que puedan afectar su salud e integridad, el patrimonio de la entidad y el medio ambiente, y propiciando así la elevación de la calidad de vida del trabajador, su familia y la estabilidad social.es_ES
