dc.description | In order to reduce or prevent occupational hazards has conducted a technical analysis, prior to the creation of the Safety Manual and Occupational Health - OH and S Manual. The information is detailed in five chapters. In the first chapter a theoretical and thematic concerning the proposed framework is specified, a brief history of the hotel is drawn, the main global concepts and terms that are related to the theme of the project are described, in addition to focus on the main concepts and specific terms regarding the classification and categorization of the hotels. To conclude this chapter with a discussion about the situation of hotels in the city of Quito. In the second chapter discusses diagnose the situation of Occupational Safety and Health in the hotels chosen for this project is approached, the delimitation of the study area is done, the process of analysis (written interviews) is defined, the processing is done information obtained, for which a tabulation of interviews is conducted to further define the conclusions, was additionally required a SWOT analysis to prioritize strategies. In the third chapter discloses what the proposals would improve, these being: Training Strategy, Manual S and SO, Regulation internal model and awareness campaign. In the fourth chapter a breakdown of the budget implementation of the improvements made.
