| Descripción : | The MDM Group is in charge of managing and managing a franchise composed of three hotels of the Marriott corporation, and has the need to protect against attacks with a tool where the cost benefit is an important point but where the most sensitive and decisive point is to protect in a reliable way the security of your information. It is important that remote users are able to connect to the internal network of the organization from anywhere in the world without any inconvenience. These users need a tool that is friendly and does not throw complications, but is practically invisible to them, giving them the peace of mind that their information is safe from attacks and interceptions that put their information at risk. With these requirements, Firewall-1 VPN-1, of Check Point, was selected among several products that offer protection on computers and applications that work exposed to the Internet, to be implemented by network administrators of the MDM Group. The study of authentication and encryption are key when selecting this tool since the smallest detail that can expose the security of the information should not be neglected. As a result of the implementation, there is a secure and reliable system that facilitates the administration of different networks, equipment and users, where an affected team can be isolated caused by a type of malicious attack. |
