Resumen : El proyecto nació como respuesta a la necesidad de vivienda para estudiantes del instituto Incine ubicado en la ciudad de Quito. La idea fue crear un espacio pensado para estos estudiantes que además de ubicarse cerca de su escuela cumpla con varios requerimientos y necesidades, brinde áreas específicas de recreación y estudio y que mantenga un ambiente de cine en casi su totalidad. Dentro de la propuesta se planteó una cafetería temática para los residentes y el público en general, la idea fue darle un ambiente de cine mediante iluminación escénica, pintura mural y texturas. Para el proyecto se escogió una edificación en el barrio La Floresta, una casa de los años 60 que se ubica cerca del Incine y es donde actualmente funciona la Ecotienda Teos. Uno de los objetivos principales del proyecto fue crear una sala de proyección con filmoteca para brindar este servicio a los residentes. Además se buscó utilizar materiales ecológicos como Termoarcilla para la estructura nueva, pinturas naturales y la reutilización de cintas de video para elementos decorativos. En el proceso se realizaron encuestas a estudiantes del Incine para saber cuáles eran sus necesidades y poder crear espacios que las cumplan, se buscó asesoría acústica para la realización de la sala de proyección y se investigó mucho sobre ergonomía, todo con el fin de crear espacios funcionales Como resultado se obtuvo un proyecto muy organizado que cumple con los objetivos planteados y que resulta una propuesta diferente a las demás residencias existentes en la ciudad.
Descripción : The project was born from the need of student housing from Incine institute located in Quito city. The idea was to create a space for these students that in addition to be located near their school meets various requirements and needs, provide specific recreation and study areas and maintain an film environment almost entirely. In the proposal was raised a themed café for residents and general public, the idea was to give an atmosphere of theater through stage lighting, wall painting and textures. For the project was chosen a building in the La Floresta a house of the sixties that is located near the Incine Institute and where now works the Ecotienda Teos. One of the main objectives was to create a screening room with a film library to provide this service to residents. Also it was sought to use organic materials like Termoarcilla for the new structure, natural paints and reuse of video tapes for decorations. In the process surveys were conducted to Incine students to know what their. Needs and to create spaces that meet them, sound advice for conducting the screening room was searched and was widely researched ergonomics in order to create functional spaces. As a result a highly organized project that meets the objectives was obtained and is a different approach to other residences in the city.
