Resumen : OBJETIVO: Analizar la eficacia de la Técnica de Punción Seca y de la Electroterapia con Corrientes Interferenciales en el alivio prolongado el dolor evolución. MATERIAL Y MÉTODO: Dos grupos de 20 pacientes (11 H; 29 M; edad media de 47.1 años) repartidos aleatoriamente (un grupo para el tratamiento de electroterapia “GI” y otro para la aplicación de la punción seca “GP”) participaron en el estudio. Las variables valoradas en los dos grupos al inicio, al final y a los 10 días posteriores al tratamiento fueron: 1) la escala de McGill, 2) la Algometría 3) Índice de Disfunción Cervical, y 4) Goniometría. RESULTADOS: Al final del tratamiento las dos técnicas resultaron efectivas, pero a los 10 días posteriores, se encontraron diferencias significativas en las variables, ver archivo adjunto…
Descripción : OBJECTIVE: Analyze the effectiveness of Dry Needling Technique and the Electrotherapy with Interferential Currents in the relief prolonged of the cervical pain of musculoskeletal origin of more than three months of duration. MATERIAL AND METHOD: Two groups of 20 patients (11 M; 29 W, mean age 47.1 years) randomly distributed (a group for electrotherapy treatment “GI” and the other one for the application of dry needling “GP”) participated in the study. The variables evaluated in the two groups at baseline, at the end and 10 days after treatment were: 1) the scale of McGill, 2) Algometry 3) Cervical Dysfunction Index, and 4) Goniometry.
