Descripción : The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of a training plan to improve muscular and aerobic power which lasted four months, on aerobic and muscle strength in male amateur football team of “Universidad de las Americas” of Ecuador. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach – Qualitative with thirteen players who were between fifteen to thirty years. Aerobic power was measured through lactic acid in blood while muscle power through the quantification of a vertical jump in a proprioceptive platform. Anthropometry tool was also made that allowed us to check the rate of muscle gain and fat loss, since, for proportionality is able to determine both the amount of muscle mass that has won person as fat percentage lost, after training. Athletes were underwent a training for four months and were assessed before and after the process. The results of the training protocol demonstrated a decrease in tolerance of lactic acid in the blood and an increase in muscular power as measured by increases vertical jump accompanied by an increase in lean muscle mass and decreased fat percentage…
