Resumen : Para el Trabajo de Titulación del año 2013, se realizó un estudio urbano arquitectónico en la ciudad de Quito. Se intervino específicamente la Av. 10 de Agosto, el tramo que corresponde desde el Parque La Alameda hasta el Sector del Labrador, colindante con el antiguo aeropuerto de Quito Mariscal Sucre. En este tramo se realizó una investigación ardua y exhaustiva con respecto a la regeneración urbana de esta área de estudio. El resultado de la investigación mostró una notable conexión de esta avenida con el Híper Centro Sector La Carolina. Mediante un cálculo de población futura; PUOS y análisis de factibilidad, se determinó el desarrollo de un proyecto cultural y cívico, Museo Nacional del Ecuador, el cual forme parte del desarrollo y producción cultural de Quito, siendo además un punto de encuentro y cohesión distinto de los demás museos de la capital. El Museo Nacional del Ecuador es un catalizador y regenerador de actividades en el entorno urbano inmediato ya que es una institución multifuncional que logra despertar el interés de concurrencia por parte de todo tipo de público. El recorrido genera mezclas de sensaciones y percepciones donde el tiempo se apropia del visitante mientras se educa de manera más didáctica y comunicativa, enfocándose en el rescate y difusión cultural de nuestro patrimonio como parte de la Identidad Cultural Autóctona. De esta manera se permite a la ciudadanía un fácil acceso a la información, propiciando la igualdad de difusión en la sociedad. Los espacios del museo son expositivos y para el público en general, donde el acervo patrimonial más importante del país se ubica en un espacio adecuado para la debida preservación de este bien cultural. La idea de crear un espacio público en las terrazas del museo es fomentar el intercambio de ideas, debate y libre expresión de quien visita el lugar. Uno de los objetivos que tiene el museo con la comunidad es el asesoramiento y apoyo técnico para la implantación de museos comunitarios, produciendo mejores espacios que exclamen la cultura ecuatoriana. Para desarrollar estas actividades se pretende compartir los auditorios, biblioteca, talleres, zonas de descanso, estudio y los espacios expositivos.
Descripción : For the development of this Thesis, 2013, it was carried out an urban architectural study in Quito. It took place specifically at 10 de Agosto Avenue, the stretch that corresponds from Parque La Alameda to El Labrador, adjacent to the old airport of Quito Mariscal Sucre. At this stretch, there was realized an arduous and exhaustive research about urban regeneration in this area of study. The result of the investigation showed a remarkable connection of this avenue with the Hiper Center La Carolina. Through an estimate of future population; PUOS and feasibility analysis, it was determined the development of a civic and cultural project, National Museum of Ecuador, which is part of the development and cultural production of Quito, being also a point of cohesion and meeting different from other museums of the capital. The National Museum of Ecuador is a catalyst and regenerator of activities in the immediate urban environment since it is a multifunctional institution that manages to awaken the interest of attendance by all audiences. The tour generates mixtures of sensations and perceptions where time hijacks the visitors while they learn in a more didactic and communicative way, focusing on the rescue and cultural diffusion of our heritage as part of the Local Cultural Identity. This allows the public an easy access to information, supporting equality for dissemination in society. The spaces of the museum are for exhibition, the most important heritage of the country is located in a suitable space for the proper preservation of this cultural treasure. The idea of creating a public space in the patios of the museum is to promote the exchange of ideas, discussion and free expression of those who visit it. One of the objectives that have the museum with the community is the assistance and technical support for the implementation of community museums, producing better spaces that could exclaim the Ecuadorian Culture. To carry out these activities is intended to share the auditoriums, library, workshops, rest and study areas and exhibition spaces.
