dc.descriptionThe aim of this study is to diagnose and identify the main pathogens that affect the reproductive tract of dairy cows in Hacienda Irubi during the postpartum period, the relationship between the pathogens and the productive age of the tested animals, and to determine the antibiotic sensibility or resistance from bacteria isolated in the culture of uterine flushes. Twenty seven cows whose delivery date was during the period from January to July, 2014 period and that had no calving complications were selected for taking blood samples and to perform uterine flushes during days 30 and 60 postpartum. Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD), Brucellosis, Leptospirosis and Neosporosis were tested through serology studies.
