Resumen : La Rinotraqueítis Infecciosa Bovina (IBR) es una enfermedad infecto contagiosa, transmitida por el Herpes Virus bovino tipo 1, pudiendo producir una enfermedad aguda y latente en bovinos, el cual puede afectar a cualquier edad con diferentes signos clínicos, principalmente problemas respiratorios y reproductivo. En un total de 1544 bovinos existentes en seis haciendas ganaderas localizadas en la parroquia Canuto del cantón Chone, provincia de Manabí, se muestreó 430 animales de los cuales la presente investigación determinó un 31,4% con un I.C. del 95% de anticuerpos contra el virus de la IBR, mediante un kit comercial i-ELISA “Enzyme Linked ® Immunosorbent Assay” IDEXX ...
Descripción : Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR) is a contagious infectious disease transmitted by the bovine herpesvirus type 1, can produce acute and latent disease in cattle, which can affect any age with different clinical signs, especially respiratory and reproductive problems. In a total of 1544 cattle ranches that exist in parish Canute located in Chone, Manabi province, sampled 430 animals of which the present investigation determined 31.4% with an IC 95% of antibodies against IBR virus, using a commercial kit i-ELISA “Enzyme Linked ® Immunosorbent Assay” IDEXX ..
