| Descripción : | The following project has as its main objective to design a wireless network using the IEEE 802.16 WiMAX to connect the head office of the company PINTULAC (TRECX SA) with different branches in the city of Quito. Initially an investigation was made of the operation and current status of communications which the company works with, and subsequently an analysis of traffic with MRTG tool to confirm the bandwidth with which the company is operating for different network applications. After we make an analysis of the broadband wireless technology WiMAX and regulatory issues in the country, this analysis includes general concepts, standards, characteristics, frequency bands, technologies and standards for implementation and operation of modulation digital broadband. |
