dc.descriptionThe objective of this business plan is to determine the commercial and financial viability of the implantation of a bakery with home delivery service in the Cumbayá Valley. Arte Pan belongs to the food and drinks industry, which have presented a sustained average growth of 9,1 percent since the year 2001. In the city of Quito, this industry has 1.500 bakeries and in the Cumbayá Valley 72. Nevertheless, in spite of being highly fragmented, the entrance to this industry is very attractive since none of the bakeries offers daily delivery service. The market investigation was made through interviews to experts, a focus group, and surveys, which helped to identify the objective market, made up of resident families of the Cumbayá Valley with incomes higher than 10.000,00 dollars a month, as well as its unsatisfied needs and demands. This investigation allowed to conclude the viability of the business since the 88 percent of the investigated market demonstrated acceptance towards it. The general marketing strategy to be used is the niche marketing strategy. In addition, the Enterprise Will utilize the Porter s generic strategy of focused differentiation, by offering a value proposition based on exclusivity and comfort to satisfy the consumer s needs and demands better tan the competition. The business proposal is based on a more for more strategy, by offering daily delivery service of gourmet Baker and complementary products. The company utilizes high quality technology equipment s and a model f integrated processes in order to obtain greater productivity by reducing the inoperative capacity and eliminating dead times with structural parallel processes. The company Will have an organization chart based on a functional structure, formed by twelve employees. The necessary investment for the implantation of the business is USD 239.183,00 dollars from which, 60 percent Will come from the owner s capital, and 40 percent of debt. The business plan is financially profitable since the Net Present Value and the Internal Rate of Return of the Project are USD 278.367,47 dollars and 36,45 percent and the investment recovery time is of three years.en
dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este plan de negocios es determinar la viabilidad comercial y rentabilidad financiera de la implantación de una panadería a domicilio en el Valle de Cumbayá. Arte Pan se encuentra en la industria de alimentos y bebidas, la cual ha presentado un crecimiento sostenido promedio de 9,1 por ciento desde el año 2001 hasta la actualidad. En el Cantón Quito, esta industria está conformada por 1.500 panaderías, y en Cumbayá por 72. Sin embargo, a pesar de ser altamente fragmentada, el ingreso a la misma es atractivo ya que ninguna de ellas ofrece servicio diario a domicilio. La investigación de mercados se realizó a través de entrevistas a expertos, un grupo de enfoque, y encuestas, las mismas que permitieron identificar al mercado objetivo compuesto por familias residentes del Valle de Cumbayá con ingresos superiores a 10.000,00 dólares mensuales, así como sus deseos y necesidades insatisfechas. En base a esta investigación se concluye la viabilidad del negocio ya que el 88 por ciento del mercado investigado demostró aceptación hacía el mismo. La estrategia general de marketing a utilizarse será la de especialista en nichos. Además, se utilizará una estrategia genérica de Porter de enfoque diferenciado, ofreciendo una propuesta de valor basada en la exclusividad y comodidad que satisfaga las necesidad de los consumidores mejor que la competencia, y una estrategia de posicionamiento de más por más, mediante la oferta de productos gourmet de panadería y productos complementarios entregados a domicilio. La empresa se enfoca en el uso de tecnología de punta y utilizará un modelo de procesos integrados para lograr mayor productividad al reducir la capacidad ociosa y eliminar tiempos muertos mediante la implementación de procesos paralelos estructurados; operará con una estructura organizacional funcional, compuesta por doce colaboradores en sus inicios. La inversión necesaria para la implantación del negocio es de USD 239.183,00 dólares de la cual, el 60 por ciento provendrá de capital propio, y el 40 por ciento de financiamiento. El plan de negocios es financieramente rentable ya que el Valor Actual Neto y la Tasa Interna de Retorno del proyecto son de USD 278.367,47 dólares y 36,45 por ciento respectivamente, y el tiempo de recuperación de la inversión es de tres años.es_ES
