The following project is an investigation based on the reality that we face today, Climate Change, which is an effect of the imbalance in the normal concentration of gases in the atmosphere as a result of increased emissions of greenhouse gas (GHG) arising from the operation of industrial, energy, agriculture, waste and domestic sectors. However, following the conclusion of the Framework Convention of the United Nations (1992) and the Kyoto Protocol (1997), born major global initiatives to regulate and reduce emissions (GHG) from human activities. In Ecuador, the National Climate Change Strategy (ENCC) has two transverse lines of Climate Adaptation and Mitigation (MAE, 2011). One of the sectors that ENCC designated as priority to take action on climate change mitigation, is the agricultural sector. This sector represents a significant source of GHG emissions, but also presents a range of options for mitigation. The main objective of the project was to research and demonstrate the environmental and economic benefits of good management manure of cattle in the Inter Andean Region of Ecuador. A comparative study was conducted using geo-statistical modeling, between current emissions from inadequate manure management of cattle in the region, and it was compared with the results obtained experimentally from capture methane gas made with pilot scale digesters. The calculated result had an efficiency of 3 percent of GHG emissions capture from a total of 40,383.63 Ton CO2e. A proposal for small-scale farmer is centers on Best Management Practices Manure was performed. These results may be potentiated and achieve greater efficiency, which requires technical improvements, transfer of information and knowledge and the implementation of public policies that promote the implementation of these mitigation projects. They represent an environmental benefit and can also ix generate an income to small farmer centers and also getting involved in the carbon market nationwide.en
