Descripción : The acquired resistance of pests and diseases by the indiscriminate use of chemicals that the flower industry has been using for many years, has prompted the need to reduce the use of agrochemicals and venture into new technologies that are effective and cost to control pest and disease problems in cut roses. For this reason this research is focused on evaluating the use of various bio-insecticides in the control of mites (Tetranychus sp.) in roses for export variety freedom. Was used for the development of this research extracts of biological origin such as neem, garlic, chili and lupine at different doses over a period of about four months, where she performed weekly spraying with these extracts, samples were taken twice a week, the first was before the spraying and the second 72 hours in order to obtain data before and after the spraying of bio-insecticides. Once this period were obtained conclusive results which helped fulfill the stated objectives, it was determined that significant differences in the use of these bio-insecticides in comparison with the chemicals used by the flower business. Best biopesticide proved neem extract applied to a medium dose (1.5 cc / l), which showed greater effectiveness in controlling mites.
