dc.descriptionThe main objective of this thesis is to elaborate and commercialize roasted and grounded coffee with high quality standards and high nutritional levels. The project will focused on young people over 16 years old that wish to change their habits from consuming traditional coffee to consume organic cultivated coffee. The purpose of this company is to become a locally well recognized agroindustry, also to look for to the international market through the development of a high quality product with well trained personnel and an infrastructure that satisfies the local and national market. The research for this project was focused on the elaboration of roasted and grounded organic coffee within the development of a production plan. The plan implies the layout of an engineering agro-industry plant focus on the market. The goal of the elaboration of this type of products is to incentive the coffee grounders to improve their lives and grow in a linear way. The proposed processes start from the reception of the raw material to the transformation of a highly commercial finished product, meeting the standards required by the food industry. The proposed plant for this project will have the specific equipment and machinery obtaining the budgets to determine the magnitude of the investment.en
