Descripción : This project has a communicational and technological approach; it will demonstrate the link that these two disciplines remain. It ll also show how important it could be for an institution if it tries to get an organizational communication, as well using new technological tools that currently facilitate assignments and interaction. Besides it is a contribution which is going to change student's learning and training, in the other hand their relationship with teachers will improve too. Organizational communication is a very important area in education and development and it is directly linked with other sciences, that is why it deserves a professional and detailed research which allows establishing the importance of communication within an institution, at the same time it might demonstrate the impact that it has as a developing institution. It was really necessary to know the opinion of people who are in the forefront of organizational communication unit at “Universidad Tecnica del Norte”; in order to determine the current situation in this institutional area. The responses that interviewed officials gave us, allowed strengthening the magnitude that communication has inside an institution as a further way to achieve strategic objectives. Surveys that were applied to administrative staff, teachers and students enabled us to acquire a realistic remark of the communicative situation. We made a web tool development, a content assignment and a suitable design, taking into account the audience that we want to reach, so we are talking about students that in the great majority have access to the “2.0 web instrument”. Nowadays Internet is a global information village which is available in order to accomplish our needs; moreover it is an optimum platform for the business world. What we should do is get involved on it, and not get attached to archaic models because in that way the only thing that we may accomplish is the isolation and lack of opportunities. It was a new challenge to trust and bet for an electronic device capable to satisfy our requirements of range, coverage and interaction. Nevertheless we have been able to accept them. If we are thinking that is time to implement new communication alternatives to our daily lives, regardless our geographic location. It means that we are setting for the future. Because looking beyond, it gives us a chance to keep personalized communication due to by the possibility of real-time responses.
