| Descripción : | Nowadays, we are standing in a really competitive world where companies are seeking for a better position on the market they belong to, that is why the majority of them are looking forward to implement new financing mechanisms that helps their expansion, with lower costs and more benefits than a bank credit. Precisely, one of the mechanisms that offer these benefits it is known as Debenture and it is used by companies to borrow money. Metropolitan Touring is an Ecuadorian company with over 50 years of experience in the market; this helped the company to become one of the pioneers in the tourism industry. This paper work is an analysis of the benefits that Metropolitan Touring got in year 2010 when the company decided to borrow money by a debenture, and how this case can be applied to other tourism enterprises. |
