Descripción : The objective of this graduation work is to establish Graphic and Industrial Design strategies, to present a proposal to facilitate the tourist visit to the Archaeological Park and Scientific Research Cochasquí, strengthening national identity. Is important to highlight the cultural heritage that holds this site. The monument area is a clear testimony of Quitu-Cara culture because of its preHispanic forms of architecture, where in addition of monuments, includes two ethnographic museums, an educational museum with musical instruments, weapons and gameplay elements, also has an ethno-botanical garden. The material of construction of the pyramids is the cangahua, volcanic tuff stone with little resistance to climatic variability of the place, so it cannot be discovered and are confused by mounds. If the tourist does not get the explanation required by a guide, the pyramids pass unnoticed. Museums lack of explanatory information, with no unity in their signs and materials, That is why is why facilitating tourist visits, is achieved by creating a global image. Chapter 1 delineates the area where research is carried out; it means Archaeological Park and Scientific Research Cochasquí, characterizing its attractions and its current situation. In the second chapter, a picture is worth a thousand words, was investigated depth about identity, signage programs, color, how to create characters, typography and Web design; elements related to the Archaeological Park, to raise a possible solution to ensure a self-guided tour and entertaining. The form follows the function, the next chapter, emphasizing the ergonomics of vision, with the aim of objects that are designed, assemble with the environment and meet the needs of users. Chapter 4 will discuss research and design methodology, following a basic order to allow a solution to the problem. The design process consists of four X stages: research, sketching and study models, final alternative development and results. Finally chapter 5, the proposal will allow present Cochasquí as a cultural Heritage.
