Descripción : | This research is focused on comparing the efficacy between sodium perborate with saline and carbamide peroxide 10%, which of these is most effective for whitening intracameral endodontic ambulatory incisors in vitro. To determine the intracameral bleaching of cavities 60 free incisor was collected, to which were performed root canal treatment and sealed with glass ionomer cement 2 to 3 mm of the cervical third of the canal, with which the first photographic record is taken and executes the corresponding entry in the table, then proceeded to pigmentation color E-162, a cotton swab to the respective color of the parts and sealing them with glass ionomer was placed for a month. Then the color was taken with vita colorimeter and recorded with photographs and proceeded to settle in the tables. Dividing randomized into two groups 30 parts sodium perborate with saline, and 30 teeth with carbamide peroxide 10%, then the teeth were collocated in petri dishes with moistened cotton to avoid dehydration, which will be evaluated at the sixth, the twelfth and the sixteenth day at the same time and with the same conditions and take a statistical record. In which similar values were observed in the color evaluation for the start and then pigmentation for both groups, however a lighter value after bleaching was observed for the group in which peroxide was used at 10 % compared to that obtained by the perborate. According to the Mann Whitney U test, no significant differences were shown in the initial assessment of color, post pigmentation and post whitening for both whitening agents used, Giving better stability at a short term bleaching. Concluding that the bleaching substances such as sodium perborate with saline and carbamide peroxide 10% is effective to obtain good esthetic results in short term. |
